Thanks Jim! Definitely a where's Waldo experience trying to find suspension parts that fit Original plan was to use the new shells and sleeves to run polys buuuuuut... As you know nothing is remotely usable about this garbage. The old shell fits okay with the poly in it, I guess we'll see...

DOES YOUR NEIGHBOR ALWAYS WANT TO BORROW SOMETHING?

This guy is older and definitely agree with your assessment. He plays the poor me card and I used to believe it but not anymore. Good on you for returning the favor!

DOES YOUR NEIGHBOR ALWAYS WANT TO BORROW SOMETHING?

Neighbor used to ask to borrow my truck. Not a beater mind you, my daily driver. Nah, so I'd drive him instead to get acetylene. Last time he wanted to get lunch too and I declined. So he bought a truck and doesn't talk to me anymore. Guy was a real charity case

    Edelbrock fit issues

I'd slot that washer so it can sit offset, or not use it at all. Similar problem to yours, had to relieve area above this intake bolt to just barely fish it in. 6-71 manifold. Carbide burrs and an air die grinder will get you there quickly. Omitted washer and everything is fine.

Aftermarket ignition ...do you really need one?

One of these ignitions that takes the current duties off the distributor points is a nice feature. Points will last forever and no worries of condenser failure and may eliminate ballast resistor too. So run any dizzy you want, I like that. Of course the entire ignition box is your new failure...

    moog problem solvers creating problems....

My Moog problem makers are .014" larger diameter than the ones that came out of the arm. That's too much press fit for me so I belt sanded them down before deciding on o.e. style and those ones were oversized too.

    Non ATF+4 in a A500 trans..?

Late at night I ripped a cooler line out when it caught on a tie rod end miles from home in the time before cell phones. Only had a gallon of pure Prestone and no funnel. I made it home on coolant/atf mix as it dumped out the line and onto the exhaust. Smoky fun. You'll be fine. I doubt any...

    Stainless Steel Bumpers ????

Welcome Lawman! Well my Barracuda was and is my dream car and I'm so glad to hear you made a dream come true. Stainless bumpers would likely have cost a fortune to produce compared to chrome steel. There used to be a dealer in town with a bunch of Delorean's. The panel fit on them wasn't...
