I am thinking of supplying 12V manually to Ignition #2 from the battery just to confirm function and start the motor. Will having Ignition 1 and Ignition 2 on AT THE SAME TIME BE AN ISSUE?

But oil comes out of fill cap and runs down on block maybe I just need a fill cap that has a better seal but that would be to easy lol

Yup. You have a PCV valve. I couldn't remember. I think it's prior to 63 that did not. It's the small cap in the rear of the valve cover with the vacuum hose coming off of it. I would remove it, shake it and make sure the valve isn't stuck and also make sure the hose is pulling vacuum when...

Thank you Mike. I am very happy it’s rolling along like it is! Easy stuff is so pleasurable. The headlight buckets had been swapped at some point. So the design was a little off. I took some flat black and a small brush to it now it looks way better.

Yah, but under boost is when you need the crankcase to be vented the worst. I'm thinking you need to build a road draft setup and put BIG breathers on the rocker covers.

Yes, it is required once you dip into the 9’s to have both a trans shield and flexplate shield. CSR will satisfy both requirements.

LOL I cannot imagine dealing something that big without power tilt/ trim. I bought one of those aftermarket units for my boat. It does work but they are a POS Completely poorly engineered. Because of the way the unitized (china?) hydraulic unit works, the leverage is all wrong...
