Who's running the same size tires front and rear

I've done that. Do you have air shocks and shackle lifts? What size tires? I'd like to see a picture.

Just the angle of the dangle. 69 all the way around.

Who's running the same size tires front and rear

Crap. Good eye! I did not notice. This is an old picture with 235/60/14s all the way around. GOOD EYE. They were mounted on Cragars that are, I believe, 6" wide. A few years ago I put 205/70/14 Radial T/As on it. I regret swapping away from the 235/60/14s.

Who's running the same size tires front and rear

So when the Designers at Chrysler put staggered tires on the 1970 Challenger T/A and the Cuda AAR, were they (and all the people who bought them) living in the past and trying to recreate their lost youth? That makes about as much sense as the 'discussion' I got into with someone the other day...

    Wheel lug hack.

Well, here is what I do. I turn the drum/rotor so that a lug is at the very top (12:00 position). Then I set the wheel in front of the drum/rotor so that a wheel lug hole is at the 12:00 position. Then it is much easier to lift the wheel straight up and slide it over the lugs.

    I'd go with 215/70/14s.

    Tigger got new shoes today.

Tough choice. I really like the Torque Thrusts, but I really like the orange steelies too. I might lean a teeny bit towards the Torque Thrusts, but only a little. I TOTALLY agree with your idea of selling the Outlaws and swapping between the Torque Thrusts and the orange steelies. Not all cars...

    17" versus 14" tires

17" rims and tires allow for bigger brakes. I kind of like 17 " rims and tires on A Bodies. But I think it boils down to choosing the right wheel.

BFG Radial T/As. Very hard to keep white.

    What Happened to Showtime Wheels

There was a company a few years ago that produced some wheels by the brand Showtime (if I remember right). They offered some pretty decent looking wheels in 5x4" bolt pattern. I don't remember all the rim sizes they had available, but I do remember they had some nice looking 17" rims. I looked...

    Max tire size 69 swinger

I ran 245/60/14s on stock 5.5 inch Ralleyes for years. Yes there was some bulge, but in about 12 years, I had no problems.

What a Difference a Day Makes!

Well, it's a matter of safety. I got new tires on my car a few years ago. The tires I replaced had about 75% of their tread left, but they were about 12 years old. Did I hate to spend $600 to replace tires with 75% of their tread left? Yes! But my safety, and the safety of any passenger I might...

    Tire Size

FWIW, I had 235/60/14s on my car and they rubbed on the fender lip just a bit when hitting a bump while turning (like pulling into driveway. Otherwise they were fine.

    Rookie mistake.....need help

Welcome to the site. I would humbly suggest that you replace all 10 studs on the left side of the car from Left Hand Thread (LHT) to Right hand Thread (RHT). Don't pound them out with a hammer. That could damage the hub/ drum. Press them out. Does it hurt to have LHT studs and lug nuts on the...

What’s the tallest front tires you can put on a 67 Dart?

All you need is a lift kit. Imagine if this was your stock 67 Dart. Cool, huh?

    Tire size

I think I'd go with 14s. The wheel wells in your Dart are not very big.

Cragar SS small bolt pattern rims

I got mine at Jegs too. 14 inch by, I think, 5. It was several years ago, but I think they still carry them.

How to roll a fender lip?

I do keep 99.9% of my tools. I would keep the Percy's tool. It was just a thought for someone who hates to spend $75 on a one time use tool. However, on a tool I will NEVER use again (installing hardwood floors is a *****, so I'll never do it again) I can let it go.

How to roll a fender lip?

Or; buy it for $75, and then sell it for $45 in this forum after you are done. About four years ago, I ripped all the carpet out of my house and installed 3/4 inch hardwood floors. I saved almost $5,000 doing it myself. Anyway, I bought a Kobalt (Lowes) hardwood floor pneumatic floor nailing gun...
