If you find a used one, they make rebuild kits for them. Don’t buy new they’re known to leak.

2 Temperature sensors, on 360 intake?

Usually it's for one of two different temperature controlled ported vacuum switches for EGR control. The second one would be in the top tank of the radiator. CCEGR or somesuch nonsense, was part of the whole Lean Burn thing with a feedback carb (Quadrajet, I believe) in the late 70s. Plug it...

Maximum Performance N/A 383 build. Input wanted from engine gurus.

If you get peak torque around 1.3 lbs-ft per cid = 505 lbs-ft x 90% for roughly the torque at peak hp = 455 lbs-ft, 600 hp x 5252 / 455 tq = 6926 rpms. If you can get efficiency higher like 1.4tq:cid 600 hp = 6431 rpms less efficient obviously higher rpms. Heads 290-300 cfm can obviously make...

With a 3.09 low gear four speed and 3.23 gears - great! Put many street miles on that cam; it was my only car at the time and my daily driver.

oh no, no, sir. the refund would be contingent on the aforementioned terms. however, if he didn't like the wait time to remove the feeback? he's more than welcome to take delivery of the valve cover and do with it as he chooses. i ship with a personal touch, so i'd probably include a...

HEI conversion Dodge ram truck coil

[1] I would get a coil that has the correct primary resistance....& an E core coil. Two examples are the MSD #8207 or Summit # SUM-850500, $75 & $42 respectively from Summit. [2] 1" spark. Sounds like that coil has a high turns ratio, which is trading voltage for current. You want a coil with...

Hemi swap 6.1L Turnover, Pause Start Issue

This is a crank, pause, crank, pause issue that is happening on a late 60’s A-Body Mopar resto-mod with a 2010 6.1L Hemi swap. Link to video: Anybody know what could be causing this? The ignition key is being held fully in start position until motor starts. And also does it during...

    What is this?

I used NiCopp for the lines in the rear that go to each brake assembly. I assume that would be good to use up front too, right? Thanks for the advice

Yeah, but once it's refunded, what guarantee does Justin have he'll remove the feedback (Joey has to agree to do it) or offer any apology? I don't believe he'll do it anyway. If it was me, that valve cover would be on the hot track to the buyer's house.

Maximum Performance N/A 383 build. Input wanted from engine gurus.

yeah, well the car is a factory 383 car so I think it's pretty novel to have the original block, trans, and rear end housing in a racecar and make decent times. It's not like I'm trying to go class racing or anything, I'd be tickled if it ran in the high 9's/low 10's with a shot of nitrous, and...

Maximum Performance N/A 383 build. Input wanted from engine gurus.

TRW pistons require a ridiculous amount of clearance due to the expansion rate and are boat anchors in weight compared to modern piston offerings. Modern pistons allow for much tighter clearances and will provide a better ring package. If you want a 13 to 1 engine in that cubic inch size...

    Head gasket woes

My guess is the head bolts were either faulty...or not torqued sufficiently. One side blowing due to detonation maybe, but both sides....... I have had ARP bolts too long, bottom out. Their QC leaves a lot to be desired....
