    brake issue

But since, the brakes and pedal were fine at time of rebuild, can the rod be too long? I guess an adjustable rod would be a good choice?? Dr. Diff?? If I pull the MC and put it in the vice for bench bleed, I will know of the Piston is moving normal, right?

    brake issue

Did that, I see no bind there. With the bolts loosened, the pedal will move about 1/2 inch or so. Would this not have to be a situation where the piston on the MC is not moving all the way. Like I mentioned, when I rebuilt the brakes and bleed it, I had normal pedal action and brakes. I...

Every hose I found required the vent bolt hole to be bored out to 9/16 which I did. I did use the 75 Maverick, the later one and it works. Bought the same hose, same manu. from rock for about $9 instead of $35.

I admit I did not notice about the 11 inch drums either. Yep be sure to measure, I don't believe it would have come OEM on a 71 Duster. If 11 inch in fact, you just need a hardware kit for 11 inch and right shoes. Notice not all kits contains all the pieces of the puzzle!
