Some M1 porting pictures and flow numbers

Does PBR have these heads on hand? I’d love to hear what he has to say about them. I know he said the trick-flows would be tricky (pun intended) to squeeze bigger valves in them because of the seats. Seeing as these two heads are very close in price, I’d love to know if he thinks he can get more...

What hp and torque am I making?

Not a fan of the speedmaster heads in there OOTB condition. But! If YOU can do the work yourself, that’s great. It’s hard to ignore the “Black Friday Sale” on these heads. Stupid cheap! I have a set of them from ProMaxx fully CNC ported. At the time of purchase before the bug and inflation that...

340 Heads Recommendations- Aluminum vs Cast J

I was just going back over on this thread and realized we have a similar build on a 340. Mine has a slight compression advantage at 10.5-1, nothing really! But I’m running the ProMaxx CNC 2.08 Shocker head and 1-5/8 headers. The cam was modified for a 108 instead of the 110 LSA. Glad you dyno’d it.

Just ordered a bare set of Promaxx CNC 185 heads. Am I Going To Be Happy With This Camshaft?

The 0.465" lift spec is I take it with 1.5:1 rockers. With 1.6:1 rockers your lift will be about 0.495". Depending on compression and intake valve diameter are, it should work out fairly well for a street engine with some grunt. 270 - 180 = 90 90 ÷ 2 = 45° overlap That is in the middle for hot...

E-street vs Promaxx vs 440 Source

FWIW, even though I don’t have a B engine up and running now, the two heads I’d consider would be ether the CNC Shocker ProMaxx, my SB CNC Shocker heads were very good and clean when I got them, or, the TF heads.
