Does PBR have these heads on hand? I’d love to hear what he has to say about them. I know he said the trick-flows would be tricky (pun intended) to squeeze bigger valves in them because of the seats. Do you know which version of the ProMaxx head he's using and if they've been modified further? The 171 or the CNC'd 185 Shocker?

Any one know anything about these heads? 2.08/1.60 valves, 185cc runners, 65cc chambers. Promax claims over 285cfm.

Which promaxx heads are these? I'm looking at ordering up a bare set of the CNC Shocker 185's with the 63cc chamber size. After tax, over two grand, kicking myself for not ordering them up last year.

I was just going back over on this thread and realized we have a similar build on a 340. Mine has a slight compression advantage at 10.5-1, nothing really! But I’m running the ProMaxx CNC 2.08 Shocker head and 1-5/8 headers. The cam was modified for a 108 instead of the 110 LSA. Glad you dyno’d it.

FWIW, even though I don’t have a B engine up and running now, the two heads I’d consider would be ether the CNC Shocker ProMaxx, my SB CNC Shocker heads were very good and clean when I got them, or, the TF heads.

I’m holding out on which is a better head until I see some numbers out of the trick flows vs Promaxx on the same bench…some back to back dyno testing would be nice
