There actually was a pair of plastic inserts that were developed at Chrysler that stuck in the oval openings in the air cleaner and were meant to slip into the grommets when the hood was shut, but it never worked well so they never offered them. I saw a set at the WPC swap meet decades ago...

By housing do you mean the plastic tube, the metal end of the tube, or the "ferrule" that the clamp holds?

Do the doors the vent on the bottom like 67-68? I believe they eliminated that in 69...

The old MAACO Silver paint job on my 75 Dart SE still looks pretty good after 20 plus years, though there are rock chips in lots of places now. Love the turquoise Darts!

Yes the part number is what you have, same shroud for 273, 318, 340, and 383 so it makes them expensive for 273/318 owners. There is a much better reproduction available now compared to the first ones that broke apart. The 70-72 shroud is for the square top radiator and the 614 for the correct...

I had a windage tray in my 69 GTS 383 in 1979, they fit fine but the 893 pan is baffled to I don't know how much it helps. It takes the "S" shaped pickup, not the angled one...

The problem is that it is a 6 quart pan, the factory 893 pan is 5 quart and the indentation is different as shown in the picture earlier. I had Vans Auto reproduce the 893 pan off an NOS one I had. You can always crank up the torsion bars...LOL..

Well the TSB says the bezels should be stripe color, but I know about Chrysler and you can never say never. The 69 GTS I bought in 1978 and still own had a GT SPORT stripe on one side and DART SWINGER on the other, but at least the bezels were black...

OK, just wondering why the marker light bezel is not black and the stripe is placed wrong on the quarter panel...

You need the 893 pan if you want zero issues...

69-76 are the same as 67. 68 is one year only...
