My wife and I took the Dart out for a cruise yesterday, I didn't let rain stop me, and put 150 miles on it. I think the 2.94's are going to stay!

Well... the 2.94 gears may take some time to get used to. They are great going down the highway at 65mph, but they also make taking off from a stop a bit challenging.

Well... I went to put the oil filter back on and it didn't fit. I loosened the 90° adapter and rotated it a bit and the filter fit. Guess what happened when I fired it up to hear how it sounds! If you guessed that the adapter leaked at the block, you win. I pulled the adapter off, of course...

I have TTI kits on my 69 Charger, 72 340 Demon and now the 70 340 Dart. I highly recommend their stuff!

I'll update what I think of the new gear ratio on Thursday. The snap rings are built into the Green bearing. I bought them with a sure grip carrier and carrier bearings from Dr. Diff.

While it was on the hoist, I decided to build a 3rd member with 2.94's with a new suregrip from Dr Diff, and installed Green bearings on the axles. Not sure how I'll like the gear ratio, I'll find out on Wednesday during the local cruise night.

I installed a TTI 2.5" kit (with help from my Bro in Law). The kit fit nice, but it is really tight on both sides below the manifolds. That being said, neither side hits anywhere.

I used One Choice 1202 and painted the floor.

Good analogy... my Demon has minimal rust. Looks like it led a pretty easy life. Mine is a slant 6, power steering, A/C car.

I put on a set of ralleyes and wet sanded some of the dark blue off the purple.

Wow...we have twins. Even down to some knuckle head painting over the purple!

Thanks Three40...this has been a marathon resto. I'm finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. My work schedule makes it hard to work on it other than weekends and momma isn't to hip about me spending all my time in the shop all weekend after being gone all week!
