    Weather Stripping 69 Dart

Also, where in the hell is the speaker hidden in these things? It's got a radio in the dash. I'm guessing there is a speaker hidden under the dash? This has been haunting me for a few years.

    Weather Stripping 69 Dart

Hello y'all, Looking into replacing the weather stripping. I have never attempted this before, so I am figuring this out as I go. The door weather stripping has nearly completely disintegrated so it seems like time. I posted earlier about fixing a headlight issue and a few posters here noticed...

    69 Dart Headlights Issue

Thank you for such a detailed guide. I'm going to walk through this after I finish this switch (if it doesn't solve it). I don't see any way to disassemble this thing further. I'm going to try cleaning the exterior contacts. Is there a way to pull this apart further?

    69 Dart Headlights Issue

from the manual "remove the knob by depressing the release button on the switch and pull the knob out. After removing the bezel with Tool C-3824, lower the switch and disconnect the multiple connector." (8-75) Reading the manual, it sounds like I need to remove that round bezel to pull the...

Thank you for that link. Taking a look in the manual on how to check the voltage at the switch. Guessing it probably needs to be cleaned?

    69 Dart Headlights Issue

Hello Mopar Wizards, I am trying to trace down a headlight issue. My headlights will not turn on. The parking lights and blinkers work fine. I just installed a brand-new battery. I used a circuit tester, and the fuses all seem to be good. I checked the headlight female-plug, and it is reading 0...

What kind of power steering fluid should I be using? The staff at AutoZone couldn't tell me. I picked up a quart of yellow prestone.

Yeah, I found a place that will make one. It's twice the price of buying one from classic industries. I wanted to double check and see if there was a do it yourself route. I'll follow the advice and get it made at the shop. Better than a line potentially failing and better than waiting a month.

Ok, so classic industries is going to take a very long time to send the power steering pressure line. It is out of stock. Auto zone does not have one. This pressure line has a section on either end that is steel (photos above). Is there any reason I cannot replace this line with one that is...

The second red dot is the same power steering line. It was leaking at two spots; the crack in the rubber and at the hex nut.

Good news! I didn't drive it. (beyond the lap around the block). As far as why I though it would be ok to drive empty, I have no idea. I tend to learn things the hard way. Classic Industries was a great recommendation! Got the part for $30. Waiting for it to arrive. After I install that I have...

Its a 69 273 v8. Thanks for the pointers. I found the part on the auto zone website so I'll be picking it up tomorrow. In preparation I drained all of the power steering fluid. I drove the dart around the block a few times to see how hard it would be without power steering. As I was driving the...

Hello all, I have a power steering leak. The spots with the red dots are where the line is leaking from. I was hoping someone might know what I am looking at and the name of the part. I think it's the power steering fluid return line. What's a good website people use for mopar oem? I can't...

Ok, so it took a lot for me not to delete this thread and pretend this leak thing never happened. (I did delete a few choice, stupid things that I said) But, after reading through the manual, thinking about the situation and what people have said, I realized that in fact, I was pouring oil into...

Maybe the leak from the metal tube is a fitment issue and the rubber needs to be replaced? I had to go double check that I am not pouring in oil where the transmission fluid goes.

Used dye and found the leak. Looks like this part is attached to a pump and my power steering. The red dots are the two spots I saw droplets form and where the dye showed up. In the top photo you can see the dye where there is a crack in the rubber.
