    Restoration hoses

Does anyone know a source for restoration quality radiator hoses for our 64-6 273 A-bodies without A/C? The Gates lower hose 20386 fits fine, but, the Gates upper hose 20416 doesn't fit very well. It works, but, doesn't have the correct bends, so, you have to deform it a bit to get it to work. I...

    Sure grip instructions

Anyone have a '66 A-body that still has a sure grip instruction sticker? I'm trying to determine if they used one that year, and where it was placed. Maybe on the trunk lid next to the jack instructions?

    Photo needed

Anyone have a good photo of how the power steering hoses are routed on a '64-6 A-body with a 273? This thing was a basket case when I got it and all my other '66's are manual steering. Trying to keep the hoses away from the exhaust manifold the best I can. I have the correct pump, fittings...

    Correct Hoses

Is there a company out there that makes reproduction radiator hoses with correct look and part numbers for our '64-6 A-body 273 engines? I can modify a Gates or Dayco hose, but, if someone reproduces them already, I'd rather go that route. Thanks, Mark

    Headlight bulb supplier

Does anyone know who the original supplier of headlight bulbs were in 1966 at the LA plant? I have 3 different cars that year with 4 different headlight bulbs! GE, Tungsol, Sylvania, and Westinghouse. I suspect it's GE, but, would like to know for sure. Thanks.

    Unique speedo cable?

Has anyone else discovered that the '66 A-body speedometer cables are unique? I have an NOS cable # 2662733 that I see listed as being the correct cable for a '66, but, it isn't. Besides the housing color, hex fittings on both ends, and the fact that it's too long, it also has too small a...

    Barracuda trunk inside panel

OK, I got the reproduction cardboard trunk rear interior panel from Layson's, made by RemAutoInc. Nice looking piece, but, it doesn't fit without modification. I compared it to an original finish panel that I have on one of my '66's and I find a few differences. I've tried to fit it in two...

    Need a photo

I'm still trying to figure out the correct 1966 factory kickdown linkage setup for a 4bbl auto. Anyone have a stock 4bbl. automatic 1966 A-body they can shoot a photo? I'd like to mainly see the upper bell crank assembly that bolts to the back of the head. In particular, the offset angle of the...

    An independent opinion needed.

Do you consider this a 2bbl kickdown bell crank, or a 4bbl bell crank? The upper lever is slightly offset toward the center of the car. Anyone have photos of their unmolested 2bbl or 4 bbl bell crank they can post? Are '65 and '66 exactly the same on the 4bbl version? Ooops, I guess I better...

    I need some measurements

I'm going to put the separate Plymouth letter on the trunk lid of a 1966 Valiant and need to make a template to drill the holes. Anyone have a factory setup they can take some measurements for me? I believe they came on the 100 and 200, but, not the Signet. Thanks.

I finally have photo to post!

Here's my '66 Barracuda drag car. Nothing too radical....366/727 8 3/4 with 4.56 S.G. The engine is a '77 Van motor (smog heads and all) with 11:1's and 1/2" lift cam. All steel (and bondo!) and a full interior except for the back seat. It wouldn't fit with the roll bar. Still tweeking but but...
