RMS rear 4 link, not symmetrical?

Something's up with that passenger side spring would be my guess. The angle of the coils seems very different

RMS rear 4 link, not symmetrical?

Are the parts numbers on the springs the same? Did they have the same length sitting on your bench prior to installation? Something's not right.

Value of new 727 trans drum ?

Looks like a 904 reverse drum. Try looking it up at transmission parts suppliers to see what they sell for. That'll give you an idea of the value. Probably not much in my opinion.

    "gripper pattern" u bolt question

Yeah, that's something I've never seen. Hey, at least the axle tubes aren't kinked.

WIW... NOT MINE... 1937 Dodge Coupe

I just wish it was closer! I've been on the lookout for a 30's era Mopar to build a hotrod out of.

Anyone w/ Billet Specialties Street Lites

You're right, 30's were snug but they fit - no problem. Do you recall what width wheels you've got up front?

Anyone w/ Billet Specialties Street Lites

Thank you! Did they offer a 15x5 previously, because I'm not seeing any now? That would be great if they did. I'm kind of on the fence between 15x4 and 15x6. I love the look on your barracuda. Is that a flip-up front end too? Nice!

Paint it, Clear it or Let It Rip?

That looks really good. Any idea what water pump pulley that is? I've been on the lookout for a small one like that.

Thanks man, that looks killer! What size tires and wheels are those? I love the tall tire up front. That's kinda what I'm going for up front. I was thinking 26" tall tires up front with 30" tall meats in the back.

I found these photos online of white cars with these wheels. The last one is obviously not a Mopar, but it's a good visual of what the black version of these wheels looks like on a white car. Thoughts?

Anyone w/ Billet Specialties Street Lites

Do any of you guys run Billet Specialties Street Lite wheels? If so, could you post up a photo? I'm considering a set for my '66 Dart. I'm thinking polished version would go better on my white '66 than the black version, but I'm kind of on the fence.

    "gripper pattern" u bolt question

Does anyone have a photo they'd be willing to share of a housing they've kinked from using round u-bolts (torqued to factory spec)? I used them before and have never kinked an 8-3/4 housing. Maybe I've just gotten lucky. I've got the same Calvert u-bolts holding Dana 60 in my '66 Dart. Granted...

Paint it, Clear it or Let It Rip?

If you're going to paint it, use something that's fuel resistant. Otherwise, any gas spill will have it looking like *** in no time.

Let's not forget that as the cost of production goes up (labor, regulatory compliance, etc), the profit margins get thinner and thinner. Costs end up getting cut somewhere. It gets really easy to see why a lot of this **** gets outsourced oversees.

    1968 Dart Quarter Window Bolts

Can you drill and tap it in place? It'd probably be a total pain in the ***, but possibly doable. Just raise or lower that part to where you can get a straight shot on it with a drill. Hell, if you mess it up, maybe a through bolt and nut on the backside would work.

speedmaster stuff pulled from Summit racing shelves

If there were no legal implications, why would SM and Summit stop suddenly selling them? Out of the goodness of their heart?? Doubtful.

speedmaster stuff pulled from Summit racing shelves

I don't think it's the copycat **** that's getting them in trouble. It's the fact that they actually put the dude's business name on it. Dude's lawyer should have a field day with this one.

    1968 Dart Quarter Window Bolts

If you can get get the broken piece out, I'd just cut the head off that bolt in the picture and use the washer along with a new bolt. Of course, you'd still want/need two thick paper gaskets and a small piece of rubber hose to mount the glass. Not the end of the world at all.
