i think the main bearings were tooo tight, the rear main bearing was wiped out, i thought the clearance was fine, appearantly not..., i have a good 360 ill just throw in my car that has good bearings and is 0.030 over, just needs new rings

they are jegs cheapo flat tappet hydro's

i dont remember what the clearences were but the cam is a jegs 441' flat tappet cam with jegs cheapo flat tappet hydro lifters that are a little stubborn to pump up

ill look into the service manuals today, the area where my VR is mounted is clean bare metal and i even hooked a ground wire from it to the battery ground, i also bypassed my ammeter. the multimeter im using is from orielly (PT performance tool brand)

forgot to mention my alternator is a 60amp

i have my battery ground cable going to the block (brand new cable) crimped and tight and i have another one from the firewall to the intake clean and tight
