The column to select what gears feels really sloppy. It has a lot of play in it. Is there some way I can tighten the cable so it takes all of the slop away? Its a 904 automatic transmission. Thanks.

I have 10" brake drums all around on my 72 dart. I just went through a set of duralast brakes in about 800 miles. I dont brake hard, I have only braked hard a few times since I got them done. But I can hear that they need to be replaced already. What brand would you recommend?
