    Well, I had some "beforehand" information that the inspector is also US car hobbyist! Not very worried this time. He drove nicely my Dodge.

    Finally approved for regular street use at 6th of October 2023. It took 14y to finish. Vehicle inspector drove a short trip. Checked VIN, suspension, brakes etc. and gave a few good hints. A nice experience. Here a short video, the inspector on the wheel;-)...

    Thank you all! Originally when I bought that car 1983 it had B5 Blue, then matt black. Next Yellow and then orange!-) Car was in "sleep" from 1991 to 2008. Now at 2023 back B5 Blue!

    It's time to install wiring. I'm using Aww A-body Classic Update kit (Classic Update Kit - 1967-75 Mopar A Body). It's very complete, all the original wiring plus some extra for electric fans etc. Schemas are included and some relays and switches for lights etc.

    Some progress done. Side windows and the window mechanism installed. A new headliner installed. Front and rear brakes installed with new parts. I also checked engine and head displayment with fluid to find out compression ratio. Last two pictures, checking how Centerline 9x15" wheels are sitting...

    In this same area in my carroom i do all the small parts of doing. That is why there is some visible markings all over. That is no problem! It means that i have to use some cleaning material here.

    You mean that that glassfiber flip front;-} It has done a very good service since 1984 when we made it. My Swinger 1969 lose about 150 lbs front weight because of that. It was necessary because I changed 225cid slant six to 440cid iron already at 1985;-}

    Here is in Finland it is hard to find any other kind paint than water soluable paint. It has something to do with environment laws. Anyway, it no harder to paint. I use High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) paint gun. And yes, the clear coat was solvent based.

    Painting goes on! Here a few layers of Dodge B5 water-soluble color. Yesterday some clear coat layers: Clear coat "smog" is in the air!-} Today evening two more clear coat layers. It is getting better.

    After cleaning with wire brush. I'm going to paint them with some zinc-additive color. And inside, where the bulbs are, will be some chrome painting.

    Magnumforce support system installed. Flip front has support system, attachments. Partially home made and Moroso Dzus. Also installed front fender patch panels at the lowest point to the flip front. Had to cut them twice vertically and take aboutn one inch away. Then back together.

    My car is back and totally covered with epoxy (3 layers). Next thing to do is creating attachment system for flip front.
