Hi,
I have a RB 499 cid. Heads are Trickflow 240's. 2" TTI headers. Car is a 1969 Swinger. 4.3 gears. I am looking for an "bulletproof" ignition system. Last time when I drove my car on the street(1991), sometimes 1/4 mile racing, choice was easy. Mopar distributor and a chrome box. It worked nice, 11.72sec 1/4 mile. Nice idle. Today there is much more choices.
Rev limiter would be nice.
Which ignition system would you recommend?

NOT TRYING TO TALK U INTO ANYTHING, BUT, I`ve had MSD 6`s on 4 diff. hotrods and have been very pleased w/ them. The first one was used and I messed it up, sent it back to MSD in texas, they fixed a diode and mailed it back to me - $19 back then !!

Thank you for this information!

I think its hard to beat a CDI box, and a nice billet distributor.
Rev limiter, multi spark, spark indicator, etc.

IGNITION BOX | DIGITAL W/ REV LIMITER | BLACK
ECONOMY|BILLET DISTRIBUTOR | MOPAR BB 413 426 440 | V8 ENGINE | BLACK CAP

glad to help if interested
