i picked up a 71 scamp with a 440 in it. it has a milodon deepsump oil pan now,and my ground to pan clearance is only about 3 inches. i'm affraid i'm going to bottom out and tear it off. someone told me i can use a stock oil pan from a c body car. can anyone tell me if that is right?

i bought new pins. i need to take the old ones out. how do you replace them with out a pin puller? i bought one from eastwood but it won't pull the bottom pin because it's longer than the top one. thanks for your reply.
