    Well, these cars were scarce, but not THAT scarce.... 1965 Valiant convertible----2769 build, 235 with 273/235 Commando. I could not get a transmission or rear axle breakdown. 1966 Valiant convertible----2507 build, 188 with 273/235 Commando. Anyone got transmission and/or rear axle breakdowns...

    I'm looking to find a original 273/235, 4sp, '66 Valiant Convert. to possibly build a NHRA lower class stocker, mostly because of the weight/hp factor, and because that particular model Valiant from the factory was quite scarce. Best wishes. WJL

    You know it's a small world.....years back I ordered and bought a brand new blk. little 2.2 Turbo Dodge Caravan from Brookfield Motors. That little car really screwed for a 4 banger.....The owner had collected some really rare Hemi and other rare Dodge stuff. Best wishes at Holy Cross. WJL

    Goodyear Bluestreaks on a 66 Dart 273 Hipo?

    A good friend ordered a '66 Valiant convert, 273/235 hp Commando -motored, 4 sp, dk green/blk top/blk int w/buckets and console, small "Commando" emblems on front fenders, 3.91 sure-grip, and yes, it had the wider 14" steel wheels, full hubcaps (kinda lousy-looking) AND Goodyear Blue Streak...
