Screwed around too long and lost my yellow Duster! We looked at it on Saturday. Overall it was really nice. it did have a small hole in the driver's floor. Had it not been for that, and the (I think bad) advice of a Mopar friend, I probably would have bought it. The owner offered to patch...

    Your biggest adrenaline rush?

Running the boat at 70 - 80 mph for 30 miles up Lake of the Ozarks in 1 - 3 footers only letting off the throttle when the prop leaves the water! Nothing like using a gallon a minute of 93 octane!

Finally got Mom to step into the 'cuda.

That's awesome! My mom would have a heart attack and die if I went fast with her in the car. Not because of the fear, but because of the over exertion from hitting me! She's a passenger seat rev limiter! My wife plays that role in the boat.

    A few A Body questions

Ok, this might get a little lengthy, but here goes. Most likely picking up a 73 Duster 318 as I said in my introductory thread. I have been a fox chassis Mustang man my whole life, but we're on top of this Duster for my Boy. I'm very mechanically inclined and have an excellent set of tools...

You are running hot because of detonation or "pre-ignition". Too low of an octane number means that the fuel has less resistance...

Wow, is Owasso the center of the A Body Universe? I don't seem to see that many around here. I guess in any event, there's close by guys to buy cases of beer for in exchange for Mopar lessons!

Is there a swap meet at this event? I may be interested in picking up a used 360 if we grab the Duster we're looking at. Sorry to threadjack!

Hello all, new to the A Body forum. I joined another site in the last few days as well. This site looks to have a lot more info though. I'm looking at a 73 Duster for my son's first car. It looks like a good solid rust free car that will need some mechanical work. I'm planning on making the...
