In a tree near you.
She has been following the 'cuda's progress for years now and finally came down to visit from cold Pennsylvania so we decided to go for a spin.

She had a blast and was thrilled with how much attention it got.

I asked her is she minded if I stepped on it on a straight away and she was more than happy to do it so I wound out second to 55oo RPM and snapped into third and wound it slap out, then let off.
Just as I let off a cop came over the rise towards us and I braked pretty hard to slow it down, but luckily he kept going.

I was suprized Mom was so cool with it as she has always been afraid of going fast since all my Brothers drove like idiots, but she said she always liked the way I drove and trusted my judgement.

Good times.

I think she really enjoyed being able to see without glasses as she has had bad eyesight her whole life but just had cataracts removed and they installed ocular implants in her lenses and now she has 20/10 vision without glasses.

Good on your Mom, mine would hate every second of it and call me an idiot :-D

That's awesome! My mom would have a heart attack and die if I went fast with her in the car. Not because of the fear, but because of the over exertion from hitting me! She's a passenger seat rev limiter! My wife plays that role in the boat.

the grin on your moms face is priceless, was that picture before or after her little ride??

You sure have a dandy young man there Mommaspaz
That got me all warm and fuzzy cudaspaze :-D Thank you :happy10:
Making memories with your mom. Nobody more special then to take mom for her first ride in the cuda :happy10: Very cool indeed 8)

A racy lady in a racy car. Looks like she's havin' fun. toolman

Great deal Cudaspaz! Life is short and memories like these are priceless for the both of you.

Seeing that picture has lifted my mood beyond what words could convey.

Life is about making memories like this.

That's really cool! I've taken my mom for a few rides in the Duster. She went to a show with me back in June...that was cool!

Yes, I would love to get My Dad down here to go for a spin.

Last time he was here I took him to the firing range.

I had to put and end to it after he pointed the end of the barrel in his face for the third time to look at the semi auto pistol once the rounds were spent and the slide locked open.
He just would not listen to me and was waving a cocked and locked pistol all over the place inside the range.

I had to stop him before he sqeezed off a round into either himself or someone else.
Dad is a cool dude, just have to keep him away from firearms.LOL.

Yeah I wish my Dad was out here helping me with my projects. Miss having him close by.

Great pic Spaz

Thats to cool Spaz. It looks like she had a blast.

Took my G-ma for a ride in the Dart and every time I would go around a corner she would tell me to slow down. I was all ready going under the speed limit too. LOL But she had no problem with me flooring it on to the freeway. Go figure?

the grin on your moms face is priceless, was that picture before or after her little ride??

Before, but believe it when I say she was still smiling big when she stepped out of the car too.

Stay tuned,..........I am picking my Wife's Grandmother up from the airport tomorrow.
She is coming to live down here with us because she has terminal cancer and her Daughter and Grandaughter don't treat her right.

She has always been interested in cars and has done most of the mechanical work on her own vehicles throughout the years.

I can remember her telling me about the auto paint store she worked at and how she could remember the different mixtures of hue's that went into certain paints to mix the desired color.
When I told her that I wanted to paint my 'cuda hemi orange, she was ecstatic and told me the recipe to make it right off the bat.
How cool is that?

She is pushing 90 years old and she is still a spitfire.

She was a seamstress and a bullet maker during the war effort in WWII and man, does she have some cool stories to tell.

I can't wait to take her for a drive and get some pics but I have to go easy because she has colon cancer and has to sit on a halo due to complications.
I hope she will be up for a spin.
Knowing her and her stubborness, she will ask me to send the car sideways because she has ridden in 'cuda's before and always talked about them going sideways LOL.

We shall see.
