Is there any difference in performance? My experience is you can over run a Federal pump with brisk steering input. It can't keep up. So on the BB a-body I had, I ran a Saginaw pump. Of course the pressure port runs smack into the motor mount. I used a pick-up pump mount. Got it high above mount...
