    Ballast resistor fried?

    Your car won't start if your ballast resistor is fried. you would have to jump from the battery to your igniton coil to start it. ECU, an o'riellys can test. I'm not really sure on the procedure. But your car would run awful if it was bad.

    It was the ignition coil, thanks for the input! and I'm gonna check on those other things as well.. The easiest way for me to start the car alot of the time is to jump from the battery to the ignition coil.. Otherwise it's really hard to start.

    Is that in a 318? KB steel pistons, steel rods, I would think stock size would be fine. And it should have a really high rpm and turn it quickly. Should be a pretty bad motor. Might even put a 6-pac on it.. but we'll see how I like tuning when i get to that point
