    Thanks, there are two small holes on each side of the trunk lid. Wasn’t sure if anything was supposed to go in those holes. I have the large corner bump stops installed.

    It is a NOM 340, so I would think its a disc brake car. I'm actually picking it up late next week. The board I ordered does have a small hole in it for the washer. Appreciate the help.

    Understood, thanks for the clarification. I think the only part that could have been replaced is the Thermoquad, but it is the correct 71 340 auto part number, and since those carbs are so hard to find, thinking it is the original one. Not sure that makes much difference anyways.... Mark

    I have seen NOM used to indicate all numbers matching. It is a numbers matching car, engine, transmission, rad support, fender tag, dash frame VIN tag...I'll change the post to avoid confusion.... Mark

    71 340 Demon Throttle Cable Issues

    I recently purchased a new throttle cable from PG Classics, and the cable is about an inch too short. I was able to lubricate my old one and it works fine now. The car is completely stock including the TQ carb. Just a heads up for anyone looking for a new one. They go by ezparts4cars on Ebay. Mark

    Does anyone have a trick to getting the wiper knob off? I can't take the dash bezel away from the cluster until this knob comes off, and it looks like a press fit. I can't see how to get it loose from the wiper switch shaft without breaking something.... Thanks, Mark
