Once again- all Barracuda's '67-'69 have ONLY rally dashes. Other "A" body cars like Darts & Dusters had a standard dash or a rally dash option. If you own a car with a rally dash, it must have the upper metal plate to mount the cluster.
Too many mysteries on this one for $8k. The potential is here to lose big time. I would be very skeptical and only interested if the price was more reasonable.
You need to inspect all points of the front suspension for looseness. Steering box cross shaft, tie rod ends, ball joints, idler arm, wheel bearings, upper and lower control arm bushings.
Those big round holes were used for shipment only. Exhaust hangers used a square hole ( with retaining clip) rear of that hole and on the inside of the frame rail.
I have met a couple old drag racing photographers with hundreds of photos. They resisted any efforts to digitize them. When these guys die, the photos will be available.
Those three numbers are found on your broadcast sheet and aid the line person to select the proper one for your car. Variations include A and B bodies, standard or Hemi. My numbers were yellow and had to make my own stamp.
