What have I gotten myself into?

Man its not just you. Red-headed stepchild is right! Is there something in particular you are looking for? Autobody Specialties just recently added body parts for our cars to their catalog, and certain items can be found if you really look, but you are right - there is a huge increase in...

    65 dart back seat

I'm not sure which other years interchange, but I'm pretty sure Legendary Interiors will have 65 Dart covers. I ordered the covers for my 66 from them and was real happy with the product.

How do you DYE KICK PANELS?

Can it be done? I seem to remember hearing that it has been done. I have some original gold ones, but I'm changing my interior over to black. Anyone have any product recommendations? Thanks! -Andy

    Been busy!

Thanks man! Yup, Eastwood Rust Encapsulator is what I used. The spray can with the 57 Chevy on it. Used Eastwood's "PRE" as a metal wash after sanding the floors, let it dry, then used the encapsulator.

    Crack in Tranny Hump!

Guys I took out my front buckets (finally got the covers and foam from Legendary!) and had a nasty surprise under the driver's seat. As you can see the floor/tunnel rear "reinforcing strap" (I dunno what its called, but you get the picture) has a fracture all around it going up onto and to the...

Early A-body repro floorpan now made

!!!!!!!! Great NEWS! I need floor for my 66 Dart. The only place I could find them was Layson's, who I am VERY reluctant to order from, not to mention their $150 per side price! Any chance you have a link or phone number for them?

Can anyone tell me the "official" name of these two body parts on my 66 Dart GT?

Wow! Excellent link. Thanks for your help Blackace.

Can anyone tell me the "official" name of these two body parts on my 66 Dart GT?

There are two twisted damaged pieces in front of my radiator behind my grill, that I need to replace. This is from my 66 Dart GT. Since I don't know the "official" names of the parts, though, I imagine some difficulty inquiring with parts yards. The first piece is the the horizontal...

    Milky Windshield

Hey guys, My Dart has a milky cloudy ring growing from the lower edge. Any idea on how to get rid of it, or at least prevent if from growing? I googled this problem and had no really good results. Thanks for any help! -Andy

Need help from any electrical experts

Guys - I'm in the process of re-wiring the main charging circuit of my 66 Dart GT as outlined in the madelectrical "Bypass Ammeter and Bulkhead" project. The new wires added are 10 AWG, whereas the existing wires are 12 AWG. Will I compromise the existing wires connecting them to 10AWG...

Can anyone tell me if these buckets are correct?

COOL! Thanks for your help Sid!

Can anyone tell me if these buckets are correct?

Are these the correct buckets for a 66 Dart GT? I KNOW the skins are incorrect, but before I order the correct skins I want to make sure the buckets themselves are correct. I've tried to look at catalogs to determine if they are the same shape, but honestly, I am unfamiliar with these cars...

    Glad I found this site!

Thanks for the welcome yall! I'm about to post my first question over in the interior part for all you a-body guys. I'm pretty new to the a-bodies. I've had a 66 Charger since 1999 and my daily driver is a 96 Ram, but a-bodies are a whole new world to me!

    Glad I found this site!

This looks like a real good site. I am just starting to get going on my 66 Dart GT. Real nice car, 273 2bbl, AC, auto, all the trim is there, body in decent shape. I've put on a new gas tank to get things rolling....the original was completely rusted out. Engine and wiring need some work...
