Thanks for the reply: the Carburetor that i want to use does not have a nipple for the float bowl valve . instead of blocking it off at the canister would it be feasible to route this into the air breather assembly on the outside of the air filter, in that housing ?. I will be hooking up...

I currently have a single barrel carb on the car and want to convert to the 2 barrel super six arrangement . the existing carb has provision for the carb bowl vent line from the canister that connects to the top of the carb. The replacement carb ( carter o- 2543 doesnt have that provision)...

I noticed that the vacuum line located at the distributor advance , when pulled off, contained a fair amount of engine oil. Any suggestion as to why and how to fix this, Thanks
