I had the same problem you need to call mancini and tell them what center section you have and if it is a clutch/cone or one wheel peal and take the thrust button out you have to take the center section out but you don't have to take it all apart all there is holding it in there is a roll...

measure it slid the front yoke in the transmission not all the way. like were the seal was riding on the yoke. measure from center of u joint cap on front yoke to center of u joint cap on rear yoke

I need some help with Yukon axles. When I started building my car, a 71 dart with a 440,TCI 727, 8.75 rear and MT ET streets, 2 years ago, I bought Yukon axles. I took it out on the road two days ago for the first time and didnt make it very far. It has a 8.75 with a 742 clutch style sure grip...

do you think that when i put them in and bolted them down it slid the axle on the bearing pushing the axle out

i slid a tape in the axle tube and from the button to end of axle housing and it was 25 7/8"

do you know any measurments on axles

do you know if that button would move the bearings on the axle.

I had that 3rd member in a 72 RR with green bearings and stock axle a never had a problem.

no i don't think so the button is still in there but when i put the axles in the went in nice and easy i don't think that would move the bearing on the axle
