    kickdown w/manual valve body??

    I have just had installed a reverse maual valve body in my 727. - thus there is no benefit to having or hooking up the kickdown linkage - correct? The tranny shop said it doesn't hurt to have it hooked up - but there is no purpose, so why would one hook it up?
