New to 8 3/4 rear ends. I have a 741 case now with 391 gears. I can get a 489 case with 323 gears and sure grip. I would like to use the 391 ring gear in the 489 sure grip and put the 323 ring gear into the 741 case. Is this possible and if so any issues or anything to look out for? Thanks!

Dropped the steering wheel to re-do dash and when I got it back up in place it is binding. When I turn it, it forces the gear shift (colum car) to move. I tried adjusting the linkage on the trans (904) but no go. If I use washers as spacers and drop the wheel about 4 inches it frees up. Anyone...

Car is finally in paint ( 6 months in body shop ) and got to say the body guy did a great job. Just got it home and put on the tail lights and rear bumper. Will post more pics as re-assembly progresses.
