What are the torque specs for where the pushrods bolt to the crank? I got 45 lb feet but when I torque them down I can't turn the motor over by hand anymore where as I could before I pulled the crank. I lubed all the bearings when I put it back together.

To pull the crank shaft sprocket?

Maybe I am stupid lol but I can't figure out how to pull my timing chain on my 318.

I was trying not to remove the timing chain and all but that seems to be the way I am going to have to do it.

One more question for anybody still reading this lol. The base plate reads 12R 4506 any idea what that means?

The only thing I am having trouble with is what I presume is the build date 993. I can't figure out exactly what that means, all the other build dates seem to be letters and numbers.

Yea, I got on Ebay and looked at these carbs. Thanks for the help guys I would have never known lol. This helps me out big time becuase my budget for this rebuild wasn't very big and this will expand it enough for a cam LOL.

I tried that trick, but tapping on the one side of the seal I can't get the other one to slide up. Any ideas there?

I got this carb of a 360 that sat in a 70 Duster for like 18 years in a barn. It's old but for the price I paid for it (Free) I can't complain. I want to buy a rebuild kit for it but don't know which model it is. Maybe somebody can help while I wait for the Holley site to approve my forum...

Got a 440 in a 73 duster. Want to run the mopar performance valve covers but they don't fit under the blower motor. Was wondering if anybody knew of an aftermarket one that was smaller?

Yes the lower valve covers work but we were hoping to use the mopar performance ones. Thanks Purple Haze. That might be the way to go. But I am gonne post in the BB section too just to see.

The motor fit fine into a 73 duster. However the new valve covers are too tall and hit on the blower motor for the heater. Any ideas other than going without heat? Anybody know of a low profile blower motor or something.

Problem solved. All primary power runs through the alternator gauge. Gauge went bag. Boom no power.

So I got my dart running. Drove it about 30 mins. Shut it off and started it multiple times. Then one time I got nothing. No power to the selenoid.... coil.... lights or anything.
