Hi, I have a problem with my power steering.When I turn the wheels ether way out and want to start turning back, then the steering just freezes for a sec.It unfreezes just before I hit a curb.Its been to many close calls, so I really don't want to drive anymore. What might be the problem...

This carb was pretty much installed before I bought the car, less than 200 miles used so far.Comes with the #1489 calibration kit.I bought a Holley dp and don't need it anymore. This carb is around $300 new and calibration kit is around $45.I'm asking $250 for both.
