I am converting my 70 dart 340 from auto to 4 spd. I recently purchased a '76 A-833 O/D. I have been doing some research, but still have a few questions. I know if I use an older bellhousing I will have to bore the bearing retainer hole to 4.80 and downsize the retainer on the trans. to 4.80...

Trying to have a Cast A833 O/D shipped from Missouri to Pennsylvania. Anyone know a cheap way to ship this. so far the cheapest is $112 though forwardair.com but will have to drive a little. Most quotes are around $350. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I am changing my 70 dart w/ 73' 340 motor to a 4 speed. I was wondering what year trans. would fit. I had found a trans. (w/ driveshaft)with the ball and trunion and heard that was 65' and prior. will this fit my car without having to modify it to work? Just not sure what are the best years...
