    Ok, on the clutch pedal rods the holes are "D" shaped, now is there anything that goes in there to help take up the slack? When you slip it over the pin's, like on the Z bar there seems to be a lot of slack. -Tyson

    Also in my clutch linkage the rod ends have elongated holes. Is this normal? All of the ford stuff that I've worked with have round holes and rubber bushings. Sorry but this is my first mopar and I'm redoing things that have been previously done. Just want to get it right.

    Thanks for all of the help. Yes its supposed to go to the bellhousing but lakewood didnt think to put a spring attachment on it. I'm going to check my fork. What length did you end up using?

    So my return spring is connected to the fork and then I ran it to the other hole in my z bar.

    Bungee the clutch pedal up? That doesnt sound like a good solution. The z bar is square. I'm going to order the rebuild kit from yearone. Even if the clutch is bungee'd up it still isnt going to change when the clutch engages. I have removed the over the center spring.
