Looks fine as far as I can tell. I did a search here on the board and a fellow had the same problem with inn/otr tie rod adjustments. My car had steering parts replaced by the past owner (who I have since found out not the best at taking care of things) I have had to fix a few lazy/ hacky...

Looks like a tie rod issue?? The past owner put new pieces on the car and this looks like part of the problem for starters.

Hey Guys. I could use a few ideas about a problem with my 70 Swinger 340 that I have had for just over a year now. This car has a 5 1/2 turn lock to lock manual steering box. With the front wheels straight (12.00 o`clock) I can get the wheel to turn 3 1/2 full right, but only 2 turns full...

Thanks. I ran a ground wire from the pot metal housing to a metal spot in the dash as you suggested when I bought your gage/demon. I am thinking I have some bad bulbs/sockets.

They worked before I took out the cluster, I suppose the circuit board could have shorted at that area?? Thanks.

Hey Guys. I pulled the rally cluster out of my 70 Swinger 340 to change the fuel gage, I also installed new sockets and bulbs in the cluster. I put the cluster back in the dash and the gages, wipers, heater, headlights all work. The green turn signal indicators on the cluster don`t light up...

Legendary makes good stuff..did my GS feom them. Pics soon..just started going over the Dart yesterday.

And you know..I would lay down 17K then and 18-20K now for a car like that. When I first started looking in October, I said o.k..15-20K I should be good to go. Looked at 2 Canuck cars for example, one appraised at 27k another at 25K. The selling $ in my opinion, low teens as far as the work...

Thanks guys. Damn tough trying to find a decent 70 Swinger 340-stick car. I have checked out 4 cars up here in Canada 18K-20K range and these cars.."need work" 5-10K worth IMO. My fellow Canucks are nuts..:wack: I have to look in the states instead. That being said, I also find US cars...

Interesting. I have only known about this car since Oct 2011. I saw that it was at another dealer besides Volo over a year ago. It`s a "Go Fast" car, not that that`s bad!! :burnout: Even though it does look pretty straight and clean, I am left wondering if it has some under lying issues...
