    350 to 360-doable?

I have the entire harness for the truck the engine came out of, eventually the plan is efi, the jag is already set up for a high pressure feed and return from the factory. I had intended to do this with the crossfire manifold from the 350 or maybe an lt1, however I already have the magnum and I...

    350 to 360-doable?

The sbc that was in it had it in the back as well. It looks to me like the sbc mounts pulled it forward to clear the distributor. I’m wondering if I can’t just modify the k frame side of the mount since they appear to be almost in exactly the same spot, just mopar clamshell to Chevy frame mount.

    350 to 360-doable?

Hey everyone, I have a jaguar xjs with a 350/700r4 in it that is roached, it had blown head gaskets and sparkly oil. I happen to have two good 5.9 magnums and a 46rh sitting at the farm, and my question is since the two engines are similar in size and mounting location, is there anyone that...

Help me buy the right yoke for my 46rh

Which one did you end up getting?

Help me buy the right yoke for my 46rh

That's the plan. My question was if this one was going to work, I'd heard of 2 different spline cuts.

Help me buy the right yoke for my 46rh

I'd be going completely new because of the length difference. It's 3 and 1/2 inches difference.

Help me buy the right yoke for my 46rh

Hey everyone I bought a trans for my 71 fury and I need to start accumulating parts for the install so I need to know if this is the correct yoke or if not where I can get the right one

    Can anyone identify these heads?

I should clarify I'll be buying used. I wonder if RA has the price dropped to move them.

    Can anyone identify these heads?

For $150 I think it's worth the risk, even if they aren't real EQ heads, I can use them to replace the heads on the magnum that I'm sure are probably cracked. I can always clean the ports up a little, smooth out the casting. For an almost new head, I don't think I can really lose.

    Can anyone identify these heads?

I was aware, but these will go on a magnum 360. I found a complete donor vehicle with a running 360 and 46rh but I just wanted to make sure that I was looking at an EQ head. If it is, we have a source for these bad boys that's 100 bucks cheaper than anywhere else on the internet. I just...

    Can anyone identify these heads?

I was on my local marketplace and noticed these heads. They don't look like stock remans, or at least none that I've ever seen, but they do look an awful lot like engine quest heads, because they have a very similar chamber from pics I've seen. The brand is enginetech, but I think they might...

    Some help with a 400

That's why I ask those more experienced than I about such things. I found a 70 chrysler newport with a 383 ailing from a spun bearing, I'm assuming it has good 906 heads and I do have a 440 crank too so this might be the easiest stroker ever. I might even have some 440 pistons or I might have...

    Some help with a 400

I had heard that when you use a 440 crank you grind the hard metal off for the offset and it weakens the crank. Never looked much into it however, would I use the 400 rods or the 440 rods? Sounds expensive for machine work.

    Some help with a 400

Exactly what I was thinking, 9 or 9 and a half. With a moderate cam, I should be right around 450 to 460 on the torque with my head size and runner volume if I can pick a piston (I can't to save my life)

    Some help with a 400

I have to sallow some pride and say I subscribed to MTOD because Steve Dulcich is my hero but I just now rewatched that episode and wow that thing made torque, if they did that with a 383 and 906s I'd have to do better with more cubes and better heads. He's got more lift on his cam it sounded...

    Some help with a 400

Hey guys, I've not posted here in a while, but I have a question I think you can help me with. I'm looking at building a 400 I have and I'll go ahead and say it's not going into an A body, a C body is the target for this one, so, my question might be a bit unique in this circumstance. Have no...

Early A vs Mid A-65 Dart vs 69 Valiant

Good to know. I'd started to have second thoughts about cutting up the dart for mods, I daresay the ugly thing has grown on me . I'd at this point likely just touch it up with some metal and just restore it enough to drive. I hate to yank a running engine, the valiant still runs. I could slap...

Early A vs Mid A-65 Dart vs 69 Valiant

I forgot to mention I have a wild card too, I could probably trade both these cars for a slant 6 volare if that works better.

Early A vs Mid A-65 Dart vs 69 Valiant

So, I happen to be lucky enough to have a choice of Mopar projects. I've got a basically original slant 6 65 Dart GT and a 69 slant 6 Valiant 200. The reason I've posted this in suspension is my intent for the car, I'm going to make it handle. Either car will get some variant of LA engine based...

School me: 63-66 Dart vs 67-72 Dart suspension

Styling, like most early 60s Mopars I've ever seen. My dad is borderline fanatic about them so I've learned to appreciate them but I would still rather have a 68 Dart.

School me: 63-66 Dart vs 67-72 Dart suspension

Well, are there fiberglass leaf springs made for it? If I can reduce some of the weight on the axle that alleviates my other reason for going with a 4 link. I can make a Watt's link so even if the rear does move I can fix that problem. I know I need to go to the later front spindles for brakes...

School me: 63-66 Dart vs 67-72 Dart suspension

It could very well have been something else, however, the sidewall flex was immediately obvious when the car loaded into the corner, then it would get this weird shimmy, not a lot. I assumed because of the way that it moved that it was the axle.

School me: 63-66 Dart vs 67-72 Dart suspension

    I guess I could always build a watt's link.
  26. justthatguy

School me: 63-66 Dart vs 67-72 Dart suspension

As far as I can tell there is no real way to easily laterally locate a leaf sprung rear axle, like you can do with a 4 link(6 in the qa1's case). This backs up driving impressions of my first car, which was a 69 Valiant. I could actually feel the tail of it shift slightly under cornering. The...

School me: 63-66 Dart vs 67-72 Dart suspension

I'm thinking that the car is not as wide as the later generation. I guess I would have to take some out of whatever suspension kit I put in it
  28. justthatguy

School me: 63-66 Dart vs 67-72 Dart suspension

I'm concerned at the moment with the removal of the leaf springs to a 4 link at least, with something to laterally locate the rear.

School me: 63-66 Dart vs 67-72 Dart suspension

So after years of trying to figure out exactly what the hell to do with the 65 Dart GT my grandfather bought some time ago, it was brought to my attention that I already had an A body in order to start the pro touring A body I always wanted to do. Regardless of whatever else this may entail(such...

    cheap heads-free 340 heads on a 360

Converter is definitely first on the list. And I just wanted to see if I could get any sort of budget build out of what I had.
