I have a friend that went 12.20 in an 84 shortbed Ram, his had a 360 with Edelbrock Aluminum Magnum heads, Lunati Voodoo cam, Mopar single plane intake, 727 tranny, 4:10 8 3/4 rearend. As for weight, his weighed in at around 3400 lbs.

Wish mine looked that good! As you can see, we've got a long way to go. It feels good to get started, though.

The slant six and auto tranny have been pulled from the Scamp. Most of the interior has been removed at this point also. I have the title in my name now, so I'm ready to get to work on it.

I picked up a pair of front armrest pads off eBay, and found out while trying to install them that they are the wrong type. I checked Year One, and what I bought is what they show as correct for a 70-72 Dart/Demon/Duster. Paddock lists a pad that fits 68-72...
