My set up is the same as most... Toggle switch the 2 step off for burn out. (My line loc and 2 step is on my shifter button switch but can isolate the 2 step with the toggle switch)After burn out I flip the toggle switch on for my 2 step.. Roll into the beams with my thumb on the shifter button...

I don't drive mine a whole lot on the street. , It really hates 2-3000 rpm. Really clunky with the Jerico. But I do go for the odd Cruze to town and back a few times a year just for fun. Also. It's risky street driving with my clutch set up...it's got low base pressure for race so I...

If I could go back in time with more budget I'd get some Indy heads.. But it was not a cheap build as it was. .. The eddies worked out just fine for me.

Yup. I'm at 3500 after all of this. I've also added a 8 point roll bar, frame rail connectors, etc to the car. I forgot to mention I have manual steering in the car as well. This thing is a tank

Ill tell you what I have done so far: Fiberglas fenders No A/C Wiper motor windings are out. No wipers needed. ( just need motor for street class) Front bumper hacked apart. Just saved the 3 bolts for the front frame bracket. Eliminated the shock absorbing bumper mounts completely . Need to do...

Was pretty disappointed when my 75 dart hit the scales. Just wanted to see if there are any good diets for a 3500 lb A bodie. (without me)I started with my front bumper and got 38 lbs out of that thing. Next will be a hood and a spool in my 83/4. Maybe cut my doors apart, Please share your...

LA edelbrock performer heads. Ported pretty much as far as we could . About 72cc combustion chamber. I will have to go back to the shop to find the flow on what the heads actually flowed at. I didn't get a print out of it from them. 2.08 intake valves. 1.60exhaust. Ported matched a victor...

Soft front end will help a lot for transfer if it's stiff, especially on the shock extension side . You foot braking it ?

Set of 90/10 shocks up front...if you have the sway bar get rid of it. Do you need a radial tire ? What's your pinion angle ? I needed about 6 deg to get my ss springs to work okay..I think the best I could get with them was a 1.55 . Is it spinning ?

    Jerico Trans

I would defiantly run a soft loc clutch. I only had to adjust mine once at the track and put a bunch of runs on it with some mild street . They still hit hard but they have the adjustability to save parts if adjusted right...and it's fun to drive on the street, just have to be smooth and know...

    69 cuda 340 slipper clutch?

I kind of find it strange that quick time and Lakewood do not custom modify and certify bellhousings to fit your order.or do they ? They must be aware that alot of there product has to be modified for soft loc clutches. I'm sure some ppl would pay to have it done especially if they are throwing...

    69 cuda 340 slipper clutch?

i was asking the same question you were last year, should I or shouldn't I go adjustable. Personally , I'm glad I did, think of it as an adjustable stall in a auto trans, it works just the same except it doesn't exist in an auto. As for street. (If your foot is heavy)Dial the base pressure up...

Not to take you away from here because there seems to be a lot more soft loc clutch users than I thought there would be.....I've got a lot of really good info from both here and at this site. http://www.umtrnorth.com. There are only a couple mopar guys on there but they really got me started...

    28x9 slicks with stock wells

My rims might be 4.5 as well. I can't remember what I ordered, either 4.5 or 5.5 not home to measure at the moment. Probably use what's left of these tires until fall and do what I have to do in the winter to have them fit. I've been over budget years ago so it's a good thing im just bracket...

    28x9 slicks with stock wells

Yes. -1 mono springs were to drop the car. Calvert offered me a good deal. I could send in my back half of springs and they would replace them with either +1 or 0 for free. Just pay for shipping. I'd say that's pretty good of them. But for me with shipping to and from Canada it would be...

    28x9 slicks with stock wells

Anyone out there fit a 28x9 slick with 3/4" offset kit ? Currently running caltracks -1 mono springs with the 3/4" kit. Looks like Goodyear slicks have the least section width. I have already trimmed my lip to max and took an inch off the back. I really want to avoid doing the SS cutout but...

    v-gate mounting plate??

The long shifter I found a lot better, maybe only because every rod and bracket I had to make for the Mr Gasket V gate on the 833 ...... the long shifter came ready with my Jerico right from new. It sure is fun .
