I have a 68 dart 318 factory a/c. when I bought the car someone had put a used alt on it so I dont know the stock amps? I need a voltage regulator and all the parts stores are asking how many amps my alt is. Any help would be great. I tried searching with no luck

I was wondering if a B&M megashifter would fit in my stock 68 dart console and if anybody had any pics? Maybe take the black base off the megashifter?
