Right front tire rubs back of front fender when making hard right turns

Just a follow up. Apparently the shop that did my alignment after I changed all my bushings didn’t know what they were doing. That along with the jolt of my tread coming off was all it took to cause the tire rub. Just got it aligned and no more rub plus it drives much better.

I don’t recall. They are long gone. They were at least 10 years old though

Right front tire rubs back of front fender when making hard right turns

Believe me I learned that lesson. Master craft actually gave me $800 even though they were obviously out warranty. I can’t wait to replace these BFGs. I don’t really care for them.

Right front tire rubs back of front fender when making hard right turns

There was no rubbing prior to the tread coming apart so I have to assume the tread coming off somehow caused the rubbing issue. All the bushings and tie rod ends were new and it was aligned about a year prior. Treads coming off is just something that happens sometimes. Had a friend with another...

Right front tire rubs back of front fender when making hard right turns

I i could accept that if it started rubbing as soon as those tires and rims were put on, but for about 10 years they were fine. It didn’t start rubbing until the tire tread came off and tweaked the fender. Not sure of the offset. I used to know it though.

Right front tire rubs back of front fender when making hard right turns

Wow I thought mine was bad! But no I don’t have poly bushings. When I rebuilt my suspension I used all OEM parts.

Right front tire rubs back of front fender when making hard right turns

I believe this is a suspension issue. I had a right front tire let the tread go and jacked up my front fender. I was able to repair it but not long after when I make sharp right turns the back of the tire rubs heavily against the back of the front fender. The strut looks straight and the...

Drivers side PST T-bar will not seat completely

OK well it looks like I found the culprit. I removed the bar this morning and compared it to the original. It’s 1/4 inch longer than the stock bar so I’ll be getting a hold of PST on Monday and replacing that left side bar with one that’s the right length

Drivers side PST T-bar will not seat completely

Nope, nothing. And it’s solidly as far as it’ll go so I’m figuring it Has to be against the inside of the LCA hex

Drivers side PST T-bar will not seat completely

The hexed ends are not powder coated. I may have to take it back out and measure it to the originals.

I measured the passenger side before I put it in and it went so nicely I didn’t think to measure the driver side. Go figure.

Drivers side PST T-bar will not seat completely

Installing new PST 1.03 torsion bars on my 72 duster. The old slant six bars came out with no problems. Right side went in perfectly and I was able to get the clip in. The driver side will not seat completely in order to get the clip in the back. I thought maybe I had too much grease inside the...

How much room do you have between the radiator and the water pump pulley? What is the thickness of the fan assembly??
