Was cleaning out the HVAC registers in our house and found these in the bathroom floor vent!! Maybe a prior owner had kids?? Or...maybe the builders and nobody found them before. The house was built in 2007.

I go in for tire repair and the man asks about my windshield wipers....?

I have a work car that I take to the dealership for oil changes. They would ALWAYS come out with a "dirty" engine and cabin filter. They wanted something like $120 to replace both so I reject. Then the next time I replaced both (with the company card) for about $45 before taking it in just...

My dad owned a Sapporo. I took my driver's license test in it. IIRC, Challenger had the three "ribs" on the B piller and Sapporo was plain...or my dad's car had a little side light there.

    Your first mopar...?

My first car was a 1972 Duster, 318, auto on column, bench seat. Red with a yellowish stripe, aluminum slots all around with M50's on back. I was 16 years old in 1979. Bought at the original Manheim Auto Auction. A family friend had a used car lot and my dad would drive cars there and back for...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Buttoned it up and took it for a drive. Strange not hearing the electric fuel pump! Used the same paint on the new water pump but going to take some time to "blend in".

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I finally got to work switching trom an electric fuel pump to a mechanical one. The grandson is high functioning autistic but still can't stand the sound of the electric pump. "While I'm there" adding the cam snout extension on the 5.9 Magnum I'm also putting in a FlowKooler water pump, new...

    Trying to summon the motivation

I thank you all. As I was reading through this thread yesterday I said to myself "self, you have all the parts to put a mechanical fuel pump on the 5.9 Magnum that you've been putting off". So, today I got out the garage and tore into it. The funny thing is, once I got started I didn't...

    Trying to summon the motivation

That's what I don't like most about winter. 10 most important 2 letter words. I once gave that message to a graduating Air Force Tech Scool class. I hope some of them remember it. Thanks for the reminder!

The first Atlanta Speedway. This rare postcard shows the Atlanta Speedway, which opened in 1910. The course was the brainchild of Asa Candler Jr., a Coca-Cola heir. Unfortunately, the speedway closed only a year later, and in 1919 became the city’s airport, Candler Field. The site is now home...
