    [FOR FREE] Literature

I found these amongst my magazines and literature. Does anyone want them? I'm only asking shipping because I can't bring myself to throw them away.

    Parts ID/Does Anyone Need These?

These came in a pile of stuff I bought more than 20 years ago in an all-or-nothing deal. I have no idea what they're from but they were referred as 'Darth Vader drums.' They appear to be 4 on 4, and I have a sneaking suspicion that they're not Chrysler parts.

    Need New Drums

Okay, first, am I measuring this correctly? And, provided that I am, am I correct that I need 11" drums?

    [SOLD] Super Stock Springs

I have for sale a pair of super stock springs that I understand were stock on H and M code big block A bodies. The number on both is 2835056. The bushings need to be replaced, as they're dry rotted from being in storage for the last 25 years or so. I originally paid $400 for them and would...

    Radiator Support

Are early A body radiator supports the same from six to eight cylinders?

    Radiator Choice

This is what I think I'm gonna go with for my '65 Dart. Has anyone else bought this one? Opinions? My only issue is price; the website price is $200 more than advertised in the catalog. https://www.classicindustries.com/product/ma2253a.html

    Armrests

As far as I can tell, all of the 1963-1966 Darts used the 11" armrests in the front and 10" in the back. Unfortunately, however, the rear pads currently being reproduced for the 10" armrests seem to be only the ones with ashtrays which I neither want nor need. I already have 11" armrests and...

    Steering Box Ratio

I'm finishing up my suspension, ending with the steering box, the stock ratio being 24:1. In looking at parts, however, I find that I have a couple of options; 20:1 or 16:1. Which would be best for a well-handling street driven car? I already have the Firm Feel fast ratio pitman and idler...

    Did I Imagine These?

I'm almost done acquiring parts for the car's suspension (just the steering box and freshening up the springs to go) to the point that I'm starting to buy up parts for my interior. I start writing stuff down but not always where I saw it. For example, does anyone reproduce A pillar covers for...

    Block Braces

For a number of years, I ran Jim's Home for Wayward Chrysler Products. Every time someone locally had an unwanted or damaged engine, transmission, or axle, it ended up at my house. Sometimes, those things were still in the vehicles and had to be separated. I took everything apart and saved or...

    Just for Fun 3

Did you know that, for a time, Chrysler two stroke engines were used to power a hollow wheeled two wheel drive motorcycle? A similar engine was used to power the Hurst Jaws of Life, too. 1970 Rokon Trail-Breaker Motorcycle

    Spotted in the Wild

Spotted in Louisville, CO on 10/29/21. I didn't get a closeup of the wheels, but it's still got drum brakes at all four corners. Scary.

    Proportioning Valve

I'm getting to the point where the brakes are gonna go together soon and while I have a stock proportioning valve, I was just pricing new ones for fun. They're ridiculously expensive so I guess that I need to know more before I spend my money. The car is a '65 Dodge Dart with '73 Dodge Dart...

    Dart Bumpers

I love my '65 Dart. Really, I do. The only thing that I dislike about it is the fact that the front and rear bumpers don't match, a fact that has aggravated me for years. Now that the project us chugging along again, I'm finally gonna do something about it. The plan is to use a '66 rear...

    Suspension Swap

I was advised to double check with the forum that I have the right parts for my swap. The car is a '65 Dodge Dart that I'm swapping to the '73+ front suspension, giving me big bolt pattern disk brakes. I'm using 340 torsion bars, an Addco sway bar, and, as far as I know, I need the '73+ center...

    Early 'A' Body Steering Columns

Are all early 'A' body steering columns the same? I suspect that they all are the same and I plan on moving to a floor shift (B&M Unimatic). Thus, I want to delete the tranny shift lever and the indicator on the top on the column, and need to know what to look for. Thanks in advance.

    [WANTED] Timing Cover

I need a '72+ timing cover for a small block. I'm in the Denver area and can pick up if local. Otherwise, I'll have cash/PayPal ready on Friday. I'm in the 80013 zip code. Thanks in advance.

    Timing Cover/Damper

For my '69 340, I want to use the later style timing cover ('72+) because I prefer the front replacement seal. I bought the Summit direct replacement Damper, but it doesn't have the "cup" on the back that the stock balancer did. Does it even matter?

    Transmission Mount?

This is my first post after joining seven years ago. No kidding, and I've gotten more done with my '65 Dart in the last two months than I have in the last 18 years. Now that the drivetrain is finally coming together, I need to figure out how to mount my 727. Is there a kit that I need to...
