I mentioned Shumacher Headers in my other response to you, they will not fit the OEM K-Member and engine mounts. Bill Reilly "engineered" his AlterKtion to use the Late A Body, your 68 Body, B/RB Headers. To my knowledge, there are no headers built for the RB and early A-Body.

Hemi Continues to quit at Speed.

Tincup, My 33 did similar things "early on", running Hot Wire Harness with a Grand Cherokee Computer, 08 1500 5.7/545rfe. Talking with "several others", and received most of the same responses. A friend that is a Mopar Tech at a local dealership asked about grounds. Of course I had the...

Hi TC, missed the link to the "Pie Pan Dodge" (my term since very young). Cool Truck too. In 71 my uncle tried to "GIVE" me a truck like this, Dad didn't sign off on the deal as I was 14, wouldn't get a driver's license for a few more months... Now, at 56, though I know Dad was probably right...

Ha! No Jealousy over here, not on the shorts anyway. Slowly plodding along on the Dart, sort of the way I do things, some say its ADHD, I say, "I'm Just Busy". Don't know if I've mentioned it or not, but I now have two Dodge COEs, 42 & 46 (same cab) to build. one will be a 4 door car hauler, the...

It really took a lot, but I had managed to resist comment on the "Plaid". Sharp car TC, building one myself... Cooling (eng & AC), wiring, brake plumbing, fuel plumbing to go. Haven't yet seen a reply on my transmission question, I used the pickup trans in my 33 because I couldn't find...

Thanks, >Like< the "Dare to be different", some would tell you that it's not a "dare", just... "Jim's Different". On the German trans, used in the Challenger, Charger, Magnum, I was hoping someone on here would say, "Yeah... XYZ Performance is building a harness for one". I don't know of...

    Tincup's 63 Dart w/5.7 Hemi

"Mrs. Gump, your son is, well... just different..." One of my favorites that has been used when asked why a 33/T-Bucket/5.7. A buddy in Baton Rouge once referred to it as a "Blended Rod", don't know if he came up with an "original term" or not, but I liked it.

Wife wants me to get rid of ride!

Lots of advise, all humorous, all bad... if you wish to keep her I guess. No, I did see one that said, "build one for her and it'll be ok". Mine has a 69 Datsun Fairlady Roadster and one she doesn't yet know about. I also race dirtbikes, with each I include her in it, whether she likes it or...

    65 Dart/Big Block/Cooling

Thanks and yes, I looked at putting the fans "out front", best option there would have been two pushers, one on either side of the latch support. But then... I'm not sure I mentioned that the car is an A/C car, and I live on the coast in Mississippi, No A/C is not really an option for this "Old...

hi TinCup, nice looking Dart, and HEMI too. I also have an early A Body, 65 Dart GT, but I'm going with a Big Block, 400. As soon as I figure out how, I'll post some pictures on here. I also have a little experience with putting 5.7's in hot rod projects. I have a 33 Dodge P/U on a t-bucket...

    65 Dart/Big Block/Cooling

Took a Bite from the Bullet, just ordered from a radiator/fan combo from Griffith. They did not list the 65 Dart so asked about a 65 Barracuda, early A Bodies would have the same core support right? Guessing that the worst case scenario would be that I drill a couple more holes. Right?
