Does anyone know for sure? Is the rocker trim (in picture) the same between a 73 2dr hardtop and a 73 4dr sedan? It appears the wheel base on each is the same at 111 in, so I would assume this trim would be the same.

It looks like the pressure relief valve. In case pressure goes way to high, this would physically burst to relieve pressure to prevent damage to other components. Not sure if it's replaceable on Jeep, but it is on some compressors. Picture looks like it screws in, which would suggest replaceable.
