    440 install finally finished!

    Installed my 1973 motorhome engine with schumacher headers and mounts, was a big job but I think it was worth it! Motor had 32000miles on odometer, cleaned up and painted, rebuilt thermoquad and installed. My 318 had a whiplash cam and four barrel, performance improvement with the 440 is huge...

    Not sure what to do

    I removed the 318 from my car on the k frame from the bottom. Wasn't as easy as I thought. Now I have the k frame ready and the 440 ready. The question is do I put the 440 on the k frame and attempt to go from the bottom up or put the k frame back in and put the motor and trans in from the top...

    Decisions decisions....

    so I disassembled the 383 I was going to put in my dart and it's not in as good of condition as I thought! I also have a motor home with a good running 440 in it. I am in the process of pulling this motor out. I removed the valve covers to check the casting numbers and it looks like new inside...
