I personally would not use the Edelbrock heads if you are planning to put those nicked pistons in your engine. In fact, I would avoid using those pistons no matter which heads you decide to use.

Thanks for the bump. The center carb has a metering block. It's the outboard carbs that use a metering plate.

Does anyone know if the metering block for a Holley 4150 carb is the same as the metering block for the center carb on a 440 Six Pack setup? Thanks in advance for your time!
