Update on the clunking sound. On Saturday, the 30th, I had the brakes inspected after the mechanic did a test drive. Of course he didn't hear the clunking noise. Even I noticed it had become intermittent. Still, he removed every drum an carefully inspected the brakes. Nothing that he could find...

I took your suggestion. While I didn't have a rubber mallet handy, I did have the butt end of a large screw driver. A few solid and firm taps on them and they snapped in securely. Thanks again:)

I will check again to see if the manual has a section covering this. The mallet? I'm a little uncomfortable with it cause know me, I'll hit the thing to hard and it's all over. Thanks guys. Allen
