    I've got a leak !!!

Ok, It seems the problem is solved. I removed the driver's side floor vent (wasn't necessary), and I had an air nozzle with a 90 degree end. I put that up in there and turned it around. I had all kinds of stuff on top of my hood. I did the same thing on the other side. Without replacing the...

    I've got a leak !!!

Yes it has new carpet. There shouldn't be much rust below the carpet, because I've put a bucket in there to catch any water. I don't know what to do about it being rusted out. My hope is that we see the problem, and can fix it. Thanks.

    I've got a leak !!!

I have a water leak under my dash, above my fuse box in my 1965 Dodge Dart 270. Some water comes out of the vent box on the driver's side when it's raining, and I'm going down the road with it open. It appears that the leak is coming from above the vent box, attached under the dash. My Dad says...

    Speedometer Lubricant

Apparently you can't use anything in the speedometer that collects dust or harms plastic gears. I noticed the free spinning part starting to have friction with the outside part. Maybe sand between them

    Speedometer Lubricant

Ok, I've had my speedometer lubricated before by a mechanic, twice, but each time the thing makes grinding noises, and either buries the needle or it doesn't move at all. I've also seen the mileage numbers jump around. I'm cleaning everything out of it. There's a yellow tint on everything. I'm...

    idle jet fuel consumption.

On a 225 slant six engine, with a stock standard carburetor, on a 1965 Dodge Dart 270, your suppose to unscrew the idle jet two turns. How much fuel does the idle jet consume per minute ? I know that I might not be able to be precise, but I'd like a rough estimate as close as possible. Thanks.

I took all the screws out, and the speedometer cable is unhooked, but only the drivers side would move. The other side was stuck.

1965 Dodge Dart 270 Dash Removal.

I need help figuring out how to remove the dash and all of it's components, so I can restore it, and plug a hole behind the dash. I can't find any information online, on how to do this so I don't break anything. I have a service manual, but it doesn't mention the interior.
