    Master cylinder bore sizes

I'm in the same dilemma. I have a 67 Dart GT. Will be putting in a 400/ 727 next year. Installed an 8 3/4 already and plan to go with 10 x 2 1/2" Rear Brakes once I order Dr Diff Axles. I have all the front end braking stuff, 10.95" Rotors, Single Piston Calipers, etc with 75 Scamp Spindles &...

    Ignition Nut Tool

All you need is a flat blade screwdriver. Place blade of screwdriver in one of the four slots and gently tap "Counterclockwise" till it is loose. Then reach underneath dash with one hand, holding switch and use other hand to unscrew the lock trim piece. No special tool needed.

    Fiber Glass Hoods and Repair.

Following this. I have a 67 Dart GT and was given a Fiberglass Hood which I hope to resurrect as well. It is I believe a Super Stock hood. Appears some of the top coating as split in places. Gel Coat? And there is on spot where the skin underneath has delaminated as well. The original metal...

Need help on Rear Brakes for 67 Dart GT

Here is what I have... An 8 3/4 housing from an E Body (WILL have shortened to A Body length - 52 5/8" width) New Perches (43") along with a 3:55 S/G pumpkin and A Body axles that are drilled for both 4" & 4.5" bolt pattern. The question I have is... Knowing A Body axles sit inwards slightly...

    Question on trans tunnel clearance...

Thanks George.... But I'm asking if the original driveshaft I have (which is originally a Slant 6/ 904 Auto and 7 1/4 rear is strong enough. Diameter wise). Or should I find a more beefier shaft to have fitted for what I'm planning to do. I don't want to waste money on trying to resize my...

    Question on trans tunnel clearance...

I have a mildly built 400 CI big block with a 727 TF Trans I'm planning to install in a 1967 Dart GT. The car is originally a /6 (with /6 K member - and I "DO" have a Schumacher kit). I've measured the length of both trans (previous)904 - /6 and (future) R/RB 727 and both seem to be close to...

    8 3/4 U Bolts

I had to set up an Ebay account. And not sure how difficult it is to get parts from the states to Canada. Costs a lot more to get them here from what I understand. I'm kinda new to this Ordering parts online thing.

    8 3/4 U Bolts

Thanks... I know the flat ones are original to any Mopar with 8 3/4 or Dana 60 and they do keep from crushing (denting) the housing when tightening.. But I will see if this shop can flatten them or not. Otherwise I will do as the previous poster said and just torque to 45 ft lbs or whatever...

    8 3/4 U Bolts

Fine thread I'm guessing? But what about if he can't flatten the tops? Just torque to spec? 45 ft lb approx?

    8 3/4 U Bolts

Does anyone know the thickness (Diameter) 1/2" or 5/8" etc... and length of u bolts when adding an 8 3/4 housing to stock springs on a 67 Dart GT? And should they also have the top rounded part flattened? Just curious as I can have a spring shop make up new ones, but they want to know how the...

    8 3/4 Rear question...

** The axles are factory A Body from a 68 Dart. But are drilled with both 4" & 4.5" bolt patterns. I plan to go to the 4.5" BP. I was using Dr. Diff's rear end & axle calculator to try and figure out things utilizing 10" x 2 1/2" brakes. I think its best to order the complete brake set up...

It's been slow lately, but so far found an E Body 8 3/4 rear housing to cut down and a pair of A Body axles that are drilled for both 4" & 4.5" bolt pattern. Next step is to have housing cut and welded to fit the Dart. Looking for a 3rd member now. 742 or 489 preferred. Sure Grip would be a...

    8 3/4 Rear question...

I have an 8 3/4 rear housing from a 71 Challenger. Bare, no 3rd member or axles. Paid $100 CDN for it. I also picked up a pair of original A Body axles that came from a 68 Dart GT. Paid $150 CDN for the pair, complete with bearings. These axles are drilled with both 4 in. and 4.5 in. bolt...

Sadly, the ole 6 bent a couple more pushrods. Not sure why as she seemed to run ok. But I guess I will be starting this Project - "Devils Dart" earlier then planned. Out goes the six and eventually in goes a 383. Already have a Schumacher kit to start with. Includes, Tri Y headers, Engine...

Thanks. The previous owner said he had it running before. I already checked the valve and it does move when I hit it with a hammer (Gently) of course. It might have been stuck previously. I added some Sea Foam to the oil to help lubricate the motor and clean it. Just have to try and get the...

Thank you for all the welcomes and comments Guys. Thought I'd post a few more pics of my Dart. She's not perfect, has the usual rust in the quarters and lower front fenders. And a ding in the drivers front fender. But the complete underside is in great condition. Currently has a Slant 6 225 in...
