    1965 Dart GT interior

PUI has a lot of interior parts. They are not quite the same quality but typically you don’t have to wait 8 months to get it.

Sorry. Blocked out a couple layers of SPI black epoxy, shot 4 heavy coats, blocked it again lightly and used glaze to fill some issues then shot 2 coats of grey epoxy. Now if I hit black when sanding it is time to STOP.

    1966/'69 A100 Twins Build

It’s never over till it’s over. Blocked out the epoxy primer that I put down yesterday found a few low spots and a few edges that I did not like. Little bit of glaze little more blocking with 80 grit and a quick sand with 180 grit and it’s flat. Sprayed on a couple light coats of gray epoxy...

    Slant Six Carb Issues

Measure your fuel pressure at the carb input and see what you have. An electric could easily put out enough to give you this problem.

    Slant Six Carb Issues

My experience new fuel pumps will put out 8-12 PSI and rumors are Hollys are sensitive to fuel pressure. I used Daytonas on my dual carb setup which are Holly knockoffs from Argentina. They would occasionally flood over at idle. I found an original rebuildable Carter pump, bought a rebuild kit...

    Great weekend at Spring Fling

Great weekend with Bill Allphin. Photobombed Jay Leno, cruised the coast in a classic convertible, met Jay Leno’s car painter who was impressed with my work, and Cheryl’s car took first place in the class. What shall we do next year?

1963 Dodge Dart 270 Convertible for the Wife

Spring Fling is over. Met a few FABO members this weekend and the Dart was well received. Got a couple pats on the back. First place in the Restified class (3-7 changes) and Jay Leno’s car painter gave me a nice complements on my bodywork and paint finishing. His car was stunning. Finally...

If anyone will be at Spring Fling I have this grill I took out of the daughters Duster (put a new OER one in). I restored it 5 years ago or so but it does have a spot we sanded out to fit it over the 73 and up ac dryer (made custom lines before the new OER and put it back to pre 73 AC. Has...

    [FOR SALE] Early A Parts

Is anybody going to Spring Fling in Van Nuys and need something that I may have? I have a complete basically new 9 inch front drum brake set up spindles and all, that I took off the dart when I went to disk brakes. I have a set of 63 rear leaf springs. They are a little soft, but there’s nothing...

    Stock exhaust manifolds vs headers

Just keep in mind it is only 225 cubes so it will never be a power house without forced induction. Also the head sucks on the slant so don’t go crazy with a cam, it will be gasping for air without lots of head magic. I would look at Oregon Cams 2106 or 819 grinds with the latter being a bit...

    Stock exhaust manifolds vs headers

Thanks. It’s been on their YouTube channel for several weeks now. They did an individual car one and then a few weeks ago they put them in a single show. I like that format better. I wasn’t sure if was still on MotorTrend.

    Stock exhaust manifolds vs headers

Where do you want the power and what cam are you using? High compression and wild cam will benefit WAY more with headers than a 9:1 with a cam slightly larger than factory.
