After a couple of posts demonstrating my 4-speed pedal assembly ignorance, it has come to my attention that all I need is the "hook" for the over-center spring. Apparently the bracket and pin was discontinued after 1969. Anyone have a "hook" for the over-center spring pictured below? Thanks.

Good advice... it is just a hunk of metal in the way. With the spring pic I posted will any old hook do?

Hmmm... my stock spring is way stouter than the one in your pic. I guess that won't matter as long as the hook is in the right location. My clutch will be extra snappy I guess!

Just looked at the 70 service manual... Seems the pin and bracket were replaced with a "hook". So that is what I need! This is my first 4-speed mopar... not trying to be ignorant, but it just comes naturally I guess!

I would like to get rid of it. Am I wrong in thinking that overcenter spring hangs off the pin that sits in the bracket... or is there a readily available "hanger" that is available?

i believe they are the same from 67-74 with the exception of the clutch switch after 69. i dont think its an issue, but would still like to hear from FABO gurus. can you reply to my PM with pricing and pics? thanks
