    Tailshaft bushing removal/install

changed the tail housing, but not the main. I'm wondering what the sustained pinion climb is in degrees while pushing that brick at 160. Calvert racing monoleaves.

    Tailshaft bushing removal/install

Resurrecting an old topic. No resolution from the OP, and I've had the same problem twice. 67 Charger in the Silver State Classic, walked 2 tailshaft bushings out of the housing. One walked in and was rattling free on the shaft, the other walked out the back and pushed out the rear seal...

Non projected plugs for nitrous? NGK?

Ok, so if the force-fed crowd is running just cooler than stock projected-tip BKR7E's, at what point do I need to switch to non-projected for N2O? I've got the plate setup for a 100 shot, and don't plan on passing a 150 shot. First hit is a week out.

What is the part # for the non-projected NGK's for nitrous? 5.9L Magnum with a hughes steamroller cam.

[FOR SALE] Two Belt BB Pulley

Can you post a pic of it from the side, setting on the mounting face with a tape next to it so we can see pulley depths?

    Fair price for 360 magnum?

I bought a '98 Durango with a slipping trans and 189k on the clock for 400. I sold the trans to a local guy as a core for $150, sold the body to a junk yard for $50, and came out with a $200 engine with every accessory and piece of anything I wanted. I see them all day long.

Magnum exhaust manifolds ball-flange to LA pipes?

I'll have to look when I get home. The individual pipes leading to the Y are only about 1.5" - 1.75", but they are most definitely like the bell you show on the right.

Magnum exhaust manifolds ball-flange to LA pipes?

Is the exhaust manifold ball/socket compatible with LA headpipes? I am currently using a Durango Y-pipe, but it hangs REALLY low. Rather than refab the lower pipe, I'm thinking of either making an entirely new Y or going duals. Either way, can I use replacement LA style ball sockets with...

    Magnum coil with Orange box?

I have a coil wire that will let me hook the magnum coil to the LA-style female tower distributor cap. Can the orange box fire it? Do I have to steal the coil from my /6? Jump the ballast to eliminate it? I have an MSD 6AL Digital sitting here that I could use, but looking to keep it simple.

    5.9 Magnum AC pump adapter

So, it looks like it will work fine if I drill a counterbore in the bottom of the bolt hole to clear the raised lip around the bolt hole on the pump. I'm not going to, however, since I want to send it back and get the same thing with rear exits rater than top exits to clean up the plumbing a...

    5.9 Magnum AC pump adapter

That's the plan if this doesn't work. I received it in the mail as I was pulling out to go to work (second shift). I'll know more tomorrow.

What motor mount brackets do I need?

Exactly. The '74 Challenger set that I put in my '68 Charger had heat shields and had the 4 holes where this one has 3. Your '73 Challenger has the 4th hole. If you look at post # 3, that set is ID'd as 70/71 E-body 318, and is identical, including missing the front lower hole, to the '69...

What motor mount brackets do I need?

Dan, I know the magnums all use the narrower top ears and require about .350 spacer on the single offset ear to use the 318 bracket. If it was a BB mount, it would be offset inward and have a steel tube welded. Just odd. It looks like an A-body mount, but the mount offset is backwards...

What motor mount brackets do I need?

I agree, something is not right, but here is where I get confused. LA blocks (pre-magnum) passenger side had 4 bolt holes where there are now 3, right? This has the right bolt pattern for a drivers side, but wrong width, and was sold to me as a take-off set. My '68's mount on that side is...

What motor mount brackets do I need?

I know this question has been asked a thousand times, but I ran into a snag on my second swap... The mounts I have are for a '68 318 B-body, and it is going into a '71 E-body. The PASSENGER side holes are effectively backwards. The block has two holes on the front set and a single upper rear...

I've seen that one a few times, but always listed as GM. I suppose I should just grab one and see if it fits. Thanks!

    Hydroboost w/o power steering..possible?

Pressure is a result of flow meeting restriction. Without having the definitive answer, I would conjecture the "restriction" is the valve in the PS box, and the hydroboost is flowthrough, in-line with the resultant pressure generated by the upstream pump meeting the downstream PS valves. The...

    Another magnum swap thread

I have probably 100 hours into this one here, so i would appreciate it being used for personal use only. I would like to market it eventually when I get it fully refined, but until then, I will share my version. The car runs with the wiring as seen here. I have not got it on the road, but...
